Properties contain descriptive information about documents; when a Library Search is performed, documents can be selected based on their properties, which makes finding documents easier; this helps make large databases of documents more manageable.

SET files are created by the Library Administration Tool, which is part of Xerox FreeFlow Software package; to create a new Property Set, click the Cabinets and Properties tab, then select New Property Set from the toolbar.
